Digital Health & PHR: Putting Patients at the Driver's Seat

Vincent Keunen is a trained software engineer who has been in the healthcare IT sector for many years. He is one of 10 HIMSS Digital Influencers. In 2007, he and his son were diagnosed with cancer and this experience was life-transforming. He is a cancer survivor who experienced first-hand the challenges of patients to get a holistic view of their own records. In late 2014, he founded Andaman 7 with the objective of creating personal health record (PHR) for patients and accessing the data through smartphones.
