COVID19 is still persistent in 2022, and its multiple new variants are still prioritizing healthcare across the globe. Epidemics end in one of two ways: either we completely close off all chains of transmission, or the disease becomes a continuing part of the infectious-disease landscape. As a global society, we need to set goals for the new normal and build consensus around them. We will discuss with Dr. John Whyte the need to normalize the COVID conversation among patient-providers and across the media channels. We are also looking forward to understanding the role of digital health to simplify patient education as a solution to myths and fear regarding COVID and its developments. Our speakers, Stacy and John, will discuss the need to prioritize the care resources to the needy facing severe healthcare ailments apart from COVID.
