OSP is delighted to welcome Stacy Hurt on board as a Senior Healthcare Advisor in June 2021. Stacy is a HIMSS Digital Health Influencer with over 20 years of experience in the health industry and physician practice management. She understands the patient perspective well because she is a stage IV colorectal cancer survivor.
Stacy has a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University and a Master of Health Administration. Additionally, she holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She advocates including patients in healthcare decision-making. Stacy is also a Patient Consultant who connects pharma/tech companies and health systems to their end-users. Her focus areas are patient engagement, digital health, patient centricity, cancer survivorship, resilience, invisible disabilities, and patient/caregiver experience.
Besides her professional contributions to healthcare, Stacy is a certified personal fitness trainer, a member of the Society to Improve Diagnosis in Medicine, and member of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, member of the #TelemedNow thought leader group, and Her viral story of a “random act of kindness” from a Southwest Airlines employee was featured on ABC World News Tonight with David Muir, Inside Edition, The Today Show, Huffington Post, Fox News, Forbes Magazine, and other major news outlets around the world.
Stacy will be guiding team OSP about involving patient opinions and creating patient-centric health product designs. Her role in OSP will help us expand our reach and patient-focused healthcare product design capability. We look forward to having Stacy become a part of the OSP family.
